Cultural Route „Nikola Tesla“ presented in Smiljan
On Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the Memorial Center Nikola Tesla in Smiljan, a workshop entitled Cultural Route "Nikola Tesla" was held.
The initiative was launched by Croatian Association for tourism and rural development „The Village Memebership Club“ and Croatian Association for Tourist and Cultural Routes „Tour Cultur“, City of Gospić and Lika – Senj County Tourist Board with a purpose to certify the first European international cultural route to depart from Croatia - Gospić and Smiljan.
The project was supported by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the Croatian National Tourist Board, the County of Lika-Senj, the County of Karlovac, the Šibenik-Knin County, the City of Zagreb, the City of Karlovac, the City of Šibenik, the City of Skradin , the City of Ozalj, Tourist boards: Karlovac, Šibenik-Knin County, City of Zagreb, Gospić, Šibenik, Karlovac, Skradin and Ozalj, Institute of Tourism Zagreb, Ruđer Bošković Institute, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Croatian Association of Tourist Guides, Polytechnic Nikola Tesla in Gospić, Museum of Lika Gospić, Nikola Tesla Memorial Center in Smiljan and numerous other institutions and organizations.
