Launch of Tesla’s STEM Academy

On March 24, at the Nikola Tesla Experience Center in Karlovac, an opening conference was held to mark the launch of the project Tesla’s STEM Academy – Learning Through Innovation and Fun.

The project is led by the Nikola Tesla Network association and co-financed by the European Social Fund in the amount of 299,873 EUR.

It is one of the selected projects under the call Strengthening the Capacity of Civil Society Organizations for the Promotion of STEM, issued by the Office for NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, both acting as intermediary bodies in the management system of European Social Funds.

The project brings together numerous partners, including the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb, the 1st Technical School Tesla from Zagreb, Vladimir Nazor Primary School from Duga Resa, Dr. Jure Turić Primary School from Gospić, Juraj Dalmatinac Primary School from Šibenik, and the Alba Center for Local Community Development from Lasinja.

This initiative aims to encourage young people to think innovatively and creatively through STEM education, with an emphasis on the practical application of knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
